Today I am twenty-ten (aka 30). I figured this would be quite an appropriate day to make my mark on the internet with a new site. I have decided to start fresh with a clean slate, use some new tools I have learned over the years, and give myself a facelift. As time allows, I will be adding back in some old favorites of people, especially the code and work I have massed together over the years (especially since I myself refer to them from time to time.

I guess I'll go over the site now... It's become more of a blog than anything else. I hunted around looking for a pre-built solution, but as I usually do, I took this opportunity and created my own custom system which suited my needs best. I can't stand to read a manual, and I don't have time to tinker with someone else's funny code. Some additions you see here now are the following:

• Article Categories - Personal, Professional, Photography and Music
• Unique article URLs
• RSS Feed
• Comments

I have gotten rid of the archiving of posts. No more hunting back month by month for me to see which restaurant it was in NY that ate at. Instead I have every post listing on the left side. Click on the title and you'll see your story. Nice and simple, just the way I like the web to be.

Click on a category, and you'll see the entries that belong to that category light up. It helps to organize content that way.

Want to send someone the URL of the article I wrote about on a script for exporting MySQL Databases as an excel file? Now you have that option. Just copy the URL from your browser window and email away.

RSS Feeds... Well I don't have an excuse for not having one since it's all driven by a MySQL Database anyway...

Lastly comments... Well I may have to remove them sooner or later, but in the meantime, it's a nice way for people who see these things to comment away as they wish.

I hope everyone enjoys the new site. I of course plan on updating it's functionality more and more as I have time, but here's the beginning to the next years in my life.
