So I had been wrestling with the thought of purchasing a (soon to be defunct) Mac Mini or an Apple TV. Well Mickey answered my dilema on my birthday with the gift of an Apple TV.

The problem main problem that I had with either choice was that each product had it's pros and cons. Well I think that gap which separates the two may be closing in with the introduction of patchstick.

One of the things I wanted on the Apple TV was a web browser. Well with patchstick opening up the SSH on the set top box, I will (thanks to the brains behind appletvhacks and awkwardtv) be able to run Firefox, as well as some other widgets using the Apple TV.
